Born within the majestic clouds of a gnarly burnout and baptized with the heavenly smell of spent race fuel, I exist only to live large.

The mundane, the ugly, and the awkward are the Unholy Trinity of Evil and I live in the product design trenches boldly tackling these Alighieri-eques monsters. Armed with a Wacom stylus, a bottle of Coca-Cola, and a mohawk I ride boldly into battle astride my Harley-Davidson with throttle spun wide open and laughing maniacally; even Berserkers flee my wrath.

My strong background in illustration backs up my sometimes frenzied passion and helps to bring order to my digital art’s natural chaos. Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe’s new weapon in the Design War, Fresco, are securely tucked in my pocket and bend to my will like hot metal when forged by a power hammer.

For the better part of two decades, I have pulled hard, hand over hand, fist over fist, to climb the mountain and have been rewarded along the way with magazine features and rankings on the motorsports industry ‘best product’ lists. Designing and developing new products with talented vendors to keep passionate and discerning motorcycle riders safe.

Not afraid to slay beasts with my own bare hands I often find myself busting out a soft ruler, needle and thread, and a healthy hide of full-grain leather to handcraft solutions in the real world as design proofs of concepts or as finished products, whichever the need may be. My personal line of handmade leather motorcycle masks are proof of my skill not only in the digital but the physical as well. (weldburn.com)

Fighting not only design and development battles but also entering product management AND brand management Thunder Domes as well, I have held my own in armed combat by contributing in many big ways to the brand vision and direction while also informing the general brand promotion with the marketing team, social media, and events. The early days of my career were spent in digital design, user interface, website, SEO, and social media. Combining my Bachelor of Fine Art w/ emphasis in Graphic Design, social media, product design, and my hands-on experience has helped me create products and to build brands.

I’m fearless in conflict partly because my three littles are watching and I will do anything to show them that when I say that they “can do anything that they have enough passion for” I’m not blowing smoke but that simple statement is a mantra they can also carry into the fray.
